Three gold medals for Bulgaria from the World Winter Games for Transplants in Bormio, Italy
Seven years after her life-saving lung transplant, Irene Dikova-Dimitrov excelled at the World Transplant Winter Games, triumphing in three events. She won gold medals in the slalom, giant, and parallel slalom disciplines in the Italian resort of Bormio.
"I am filled with happiness, overflowing with emotions, and extremely grateful that I have the opportunity to compete here," Irene expresses her joy.
ROI CAPITAL gladly supports social causes and actively participates in charity activities, therefore it supports Irene's participation.
She, for her part, shares that she competes to give hope to people with her fate and to convey strength to those waiting for a transplant and their families. For her, the medals are motivation to move forward, fight, train, live, and play sports, with which to spread the idea of transplantation and donation in Bulgaria and around the world!
