ROI Capital Supports Young Talent: WDSF Bulgarian Open Championship – A Global Stage for the Future of Sports
For the second consecutive year, Bulgaria and Hotel Marinela in Sofia hosted the most prestigious international dance competition – the WDSF Bulgarian Open Championship. Over 1,100 dance couples from around the world participated in the 2025 edition – nearly double the number from the previous year, reaffirming the event’s reputation and growing influence on the global dance stage.
Organized by the renowned coach Mrs. Dobrina Parichkova, this championship has become a symbol of quality, professionalism, and dedication to the development of sports dancing. Over the past 35 years, Mrs. Parichkova has played a key role in earning international respect for Bulgarian dance sport. Her club, KST “Parichkova – Dance Team”, has established itself over the past three years as a training ground for some of the country’s top young competitors, consistently achieving top placements in both national and international competitions.
One of this year’s standout performers was Sofia Kostova – only 8 years old and already achieving remarkable results. She reached the finals among 50 participants in the “Juvenile 2” category and even advanced to the semifinals in the 12-year-old group, demonstrating exceptional technique, discipline, and passion for dance. Her results now open the door to entry into the WDSF international ranking, a significant milestone for such a young athlete.
The successful organization of the event and the athletes’ accomplishments wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of coaches, parents, supporters, and partners.
In ROI Capital, our vision and commitment to the future help foster the development of young Bulgarian talent. We believe that hard work, ambition, and the courage to dream are fundamental to shaping the next generation – in sports, in business, and society as a whole.
